摘要
格义源自我国最初的佛经翻译,是两种不同文化会通初期的有效途径。我国儒家文化与西方文化交流的初期,辜鸿铭采用西方文化格义东方文化,对儒家典籍进行了文化翻译,在西方社会获得成功。然而格义本身所具有的局限性,势必会导致译文对原文的失真。在当今的文化交流形势下,辜鸿铭的儒经格义翻译带给当代文化译介的启示是坚持翻译的"陌生化",保留异域文化的特色,保持文化的多元化。
Ceyi developed from the translation of Buddhist scriptures in our history was an effective way to integrate the two differ- ent cultures at the early stage. In the early stage of the exchange between Chinese Confucian culture and the western culture, Ku Hung-Ming adopted Ceyi strategy translating Confucian Classics successfully, which brought a great influence on the western so- ciety. However, the limitations of Ceyi inevitably caused the losing of the original theme during the translation. Ceyi in Ku Hung-Ming's translation of Confucian Classics revealed us an enlightenment that translator should uphold the "Defamiliarization" in the cultural translation to maintain the diversification of cultures.
