摘要
目的探讨表皮生长因子 (EGF)、转化生长因子 α(TGF α)和表皮生长因子受体 (EGFR)在垂体腺瘤发生、发展过程中的作用。方法应用放射性原位分子杂交法 ,观察上述3种分子的表达。结果在检测的22例垂体腺瘤组织中 ,分别有17例 (77 % )、12例(55 %)和20例(91 %)显示有EGF ,TGF α和EGFRmRNA的过度表达 ,它们在正常垂体组织中的阳性率分别为42 % ,25 %和42 %。不同的垂体腺瘤组织中3种mRNA的表达强度有差异。结论垂体腺瘤中存在着EGF/EGFR或/和TGF α/EGFR自分泌系统 ,该系统在垂体腺瘤的分化及增殖过程中可能起着重要的作用。
Aim To investigate the roles of epidermal growth factor(EGF), transforming growth factor α(TGF α) and EGF receptor(EGFR) in the occurrence and development of pituitary adenoma. Methods Expressions of the above three molecules were observed by radioactive in situ hybridization technique. Results Among the tissues of 22 pituitary adenoma, 17(77%),12(55%) and 20(91%)of them exhibited high expressions of EGF, TGF αand EGFR mRNAs, respectively. The positive rate of three molecules in normal pituitary tissues were 42%, 25%and 42%, respectively. The expression intensities of three molecules were different in different pituitary adenoma tissues. Conclusion The autocrine system of EGF/EGFR and/or TGF α/EGFR may be existing in the pituitary adenoma. It may play an important role in the proliferation and differntiation of pituitary adenoma.
