摘要
指出翻译是一种复杂的跨文化语言转换行为,是将一种语言文化承载的意义转换到另一种语言文化中的跨语言、跨文化的交际活动。由于文化的差异给翻译带来重重障碍,探讨文化与翻译的关系和功能对等的概念,有助于找出传递源语文化信息的最佳方式,寻求恰当的翻译策略,从而实现翻译中的文化对等。
Translation is not only a kind of complex cross-cultural language conversion behavior, but also a kind of cross-cultural and cross-language communicative activity, with the transmission of a meaning in one culture into another. But the cultural differences cause many obstacles to translation. Therefore, in order to find out proper translation strategies and optimal methods of transmission, it is necessary to take a probe into the relationship between culture and translation, and into the concept of functional equivalence, with the hope of cultural equivalence.
