摘要
船政文化是福建旅游的重点内涵之一,为了更有效服务福建涉外旅游开发,船政和船政文化的英译是否适宜就显得非常重要。"船政"因其独特的文化内涵成为翻译活动中的"文化空缺词"。出于文化交流的目的,也得益于当前良好的国际文化互动关系,"船政"的英译方法最好采用音译。该译法具有简洁性、包容性等特点,能激发海外游客的探索欲望,还凸显了中国外宣的自信,有利于船政文化的海外推介。
Chuanzhengculture is one of the key focuses in Fujian tourism.A proper translation will help a lot in publicizing it overseas.＂Chuanzheng＂makes itself a lexical gap in translation because of its own complex cultural connotation.For better cultural exchange and thanks to a benign international translation environment,＂Chuanzheng＂and Chuanzhengculture was suggested from the＂hybrid＂perspective.Such translation is concise yet powerfully embracing,which not only kindles the aspiration for more from the readers of another culture,but highlights China＇s confidence in international publicity.It helps developing tourist market abroad.
