In the stage of high-quality development of education, weak schools need to shift from extrapolated development to endogenous development.Based on the typical case of D school’s success in“getting rid of weakness”,this paper analyzes the“one school, two systems”as the fulcrum of D school and its endogenous development path formed by implementing and expanding the school’s autonomy in running a school, highlighting the principal position of the school in running a school, enhancing the school’s self-confidence and willingness of initiative development,Improving the self-development ability of the school and focusing on the formation of school advantages and characteristics. From the perspective of endogenous development theory, the fundamental reason for the transformation of D school is to play the main role of school, pay attention to the construction of school culture, enhance the internal development power of school, and establish a democratic coordination and comprehensive participation mechanism, which has great reference value. At the same time, for compulsory education schools that are in urgent need of“Getting rid of weakness”,It is also necessary to identify the fulcrum for the school to“get rid of weakness”,establish a multi-subject education interest coupling symbiosis mechanism, and promote the interaction and integration of internal and external resources with a new resource concept.
