摘要
目的论把翻译行为视为一种有目的的跨文化交际活动,在翻译过程中要遵循目的准则、忠实和连贯准则。影视剧字幕翻译的交际功能决定了译者不仅要考虑两种语言的差异,更要考虑到目的语观众期待、文化背景等,以目的论的三大准则为指导,灵活地采用合适的翻译策略和方法。
Skopostheorie views translating as a purposeful intercultural activity and the Skopos rule, fidelity and coherencerules should be followed while translating. The communicative function or purpose of subtitles translation requires translators not onlyto take linguistic differences into consideration but also to keep in mind both the expectation and the cultural background of targetedaudience. Under the guidance of the three rules, translators should flexibly adopt the most suitable translation strategies and methodswhile translating subtitles.
