摘要
目的论是德国功能派翻译理论的核心,强调翻译目的决定翻译策略。经历了3个时期的发展后,最终由诺德提出了"功能+忠诚"的"忠诚原则",其研究重点在于翻译者对原文作者和译文读者的忠诚。忠诚原则既纠正了激进功能主义的倾向,也进一步完善了"目的论",突破了对等理论的束缚,对传统的"忠实"标准进行了修正,扩大了可译性的范围。更重要的是,它增加了翻译策略要求翻译活动必须依据翻译目的,以文本目的为翻译过程的最高准则。这对翻译行为具有重要的指导意义。
Skopos theory, as the core of the German Functionalist translation theory, claims that the goal of translation determines the strategies of translation and then Christiane Nord added his ＂function ＋ loyalty＂ principle, with its focus on the translator＇s loyalty to the source writer and translation readers. This principle remedies the radical functionalism, further complements Skopos theory, breaks through the restrictions of equivalence theory, and makes amendments for the traditional loyalty criterion, thus broadens the scope of translatability. More importantly, it claims that Skopos, as the optimal principle in translation, is of great significance to translation activities.
