摘要
随着全球化进程的推进和国际格局的深刻变革,世界正经历百年未有之大变局。在此背景下,外交辞令的跨语言文化传播越发关键。近年来,非典型外交辞令频繁出现在外交场合中,反映了中国外交话语体系的适应性变革,其高度的语言表现力彰显了中国特色。文本以目的论为理论指导,选取了外交部例行记者会中有代表性的案例进行剖析,分析其英译采用的翻译策略和技巧,并对此作出了总结与展望。
With the advancement of globalization and profound changes in the international landscape,the world is undergoing unprecedented transformation unseen in a century.In this context,the cross-linguistic and cross-cultural communication of diplomatic language has become more significant.In recent years,atypical diplomatic language has frequently appeared in diplomatic occasions,which reflects adaptive transformation of China’s diplomatic discourse system.Its highly expressive linguistic feature represents Chinese characteristics.Based on Skopos theory,this paper selects representative cases from Regular Press Conferences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to analyze translation strategies and techniques and provides with conclusions and future prospects.
