摘要
编译是一种常见的翻译形式与方法,然而以功能翻译理论专门探讨编译问题的研究论文至今尚不多见。以功能翻译理论为基础,从原文的语篇类型、翻译目的 译文功能和译文读者等几个方面对一则编译实例进行分析,探讨编译的合理性及其理论根据。
Adaptation is a common form and a practical method of translation, but up to now few research papers have been published on this area. The present paper attempts to analyze an adaptation on the basis of functional theory of translation. The analyses of the source text, the translation purpose/TT function and the target readership indicate that adaptation is a reasonable practice that can be explained with the functional theory of translation. It is hoped that the findings will give some insight to the practitioners in the real translation situations.
