摘要
翻译是跨文化的语际转换,译者的任务是寻找到原文与译文在语言信息和文化信息上的最佳关联。文化缺省是任何跨文化翻译必须面对的问题,原语中所蕴涵的丰富的文化内涵在传承交互过程中或多或少地会出现信息意图或交际意图的文化亏损。从关联理论视角出发,依据翻译中文化缺省时再传递的可行性特性以及根据关联原则采取的具体补偿策略,可有效解决翻译中文化缺省问题。
Translation is the language transition of different cultures in which the task of the translator is to seek the greatest language and cultural relevance between the original and target language. Cultural default is a common problem affecting the quality of any across cultural allusion translation, because information intention and communication intention will somewhat get lost in this process. The author of this paper probes into the transferability of cultural default constituents from the perspective of relevance theory. It brings out the research findings of the author about the relevance - theoretic account of transmission of culture default in translation, intending to find ways of how to reduce or avoid cultural losses.
