摘要
梅贻宝所译《墨子》典籍是西方了解中国墨家思想的重要途径之一,由于受语言符号、文化差异、意识形态等各种因素的影响,梅译英文版《墨子.卷一》存在文化流失问题,我们对这种文化流失现象进行了分析,并提出通过文化补偿或者经典重译两种方式来弥补典籍翻译中的文化流失问题。
Y. P. Mei＇s translation of ＂Mo Zi＂ is one of the most important sources in understanding Mohist thought. However, re-stricted by language, culture and ideology differences and so on, there are culture losses in Y. P. Mei＇s version, the present paper takes the first Book of Y. P. Mei＇s version to analysis the culture loss phonomenon and proposes to com-pensate or re - translate the source text in order to fully transmit culture of Mo Zi to the west.
