摘要
目的 :分析前列腺素E2 (prostaglandinE2 ,PGE2 )和血栓素A2 (thromboxaneA2 ,TXA2 )与根尖周炎临床表现的关系 ,探讨两者在根尖周炎发生、发展中的作用。方法 :采用放射免疫技术对 6 9位患者 135例不同状态尖周渗出液中PGE2 与TXB2 (TXA2 的稳定代谢产物 )进行质量浓度测定 ,并计算两者比值。同时测量渗出液体积 ,应用Wilcoxon秩和检验进行统计分析。结果 :PGE2 质量浓度在治疗前有症状组明显高于无症状组(P <0 .0 1) ,治疗期间急性发作其质量浓度升至最高 ,经根管治疗后降至最低。TXB2 的测量结果恰相反 ,尖周渗出液体积在治疗前有症状组显著多于无症状组 ,治疗后明显减少。结论 :PGE2 与TXA2 积极参与并影响着根尖周炎的发生、发展与转归。
AIM:To evaluate the relationship between concentrations PGE 2 and TXB 2 and clinical findings of periapical periodontitis and to explore the function of PGE 2 and TXA 2 in periapical periodontitis. METHODS:Periapical exudates samples were obtained from 135 root canals during routine canal treatment using paper points in 69 patients. The levels of PGE 2 and TXB 2 (the stable metabolites of TXA 2) were determined by radioimmunoassay.The PGE 2/TXB 2 was calculated. Exudates volume were determined as well. The Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test was performed to test the statistical difference. RESULTS:Significantly higher levels of PGE 2 were found in periapical exudates from painful teeth than from asymptomatic teeth. The elevated PGE 2 levels were associated with the endodontic interappointment emergencies. The mean PGE 2 levels significantly decreased following the endodontic therapy. In contrast, the change of TXB 2 levels was on the contrary to above conditions. The volume of periapical exudates in symptomatic teeth was higher than the asymptomatic teeth. Its levels decreased after the root canal treatment. CONCLUSION:PGE 2 and TXA 2 take an active part in the occurrence and development of periapical periodontitis.
