植物纤维在食品接触用塑料材料中的应用及合规管理 被引量:2

摘要 基于植物纤维在食品接触用塑料中的应用日益广泛,探讨了将植物纤维添加到食品接触用塑料材料中使用所带来的食品安全风险及法规监管情况。综述了常见植物纤维在塑料材料中应用性能的研究进展以及可能引起的食品安全风险,分析了2022-2024年欧盟食品及饲料快速预警系统(Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed,RASFF)对该类产品的相关通报,以及中国、欧盟和美国等主要国家和地区对食品接触用植物纤维塑料产品的法规管控现状,并对该类产品在食品接触领域的安全、合规进行了总结和建议。将植物纤维添加到塑料材料中制备成复合材料,可以改善材料的疏水性能,增强材料的力学性能和热稳定性,加快材料的降解;但植物纤维成分复杂,将其加入到食品接触用塑料材料中的生产加工过程以及后续使用过程等都有可能引发潜在食品安全风险,中国、欧盟和美国等都制定了相应的法规对该类产品进行监管。未来,提高植物纤维/塑料材料在食品接触领域的高值化应用,需要以满足各国食品安全法规的要求为前提,避免引起食品安全风险,危害人体健康。 Since the plant fibers have been widely used in food contact plastics,the work aims to discuss the food safety risks and regulatory situations arising from the addition of plant fibers to food contact plastics.The research progress on the application properties of common plant fibers in plastic materials and the potential food risks were reviewed.The notifications related to such products by the EU RASFF from 2022 to 2024 and the current regulatory status for plant fiber-plastic products in food contact applications in major countries and regions such as China,the EU,and the U.S were analyzed.The safety and compliance considerations for these products in food contact applications were summarized.Preparing composite materials by adding plant fibers to plastic materials could improve the hydrophobic properties of the materials,enhance their mechanical and thermal stability,and accelerate degradation.However,plant fibers had complex components,so the production and processing of adding them to food contact plastics as well as the subsequent use might cause potential food safety risks.China,the EU,the U.S.and other countries formulated corresponding regulations to supervise such products.In the future,promoting the high-value application of plant fiber/plastic materials in food contact fields must be premised on meeting the food safety regulatory requirements of various countries to avoid food safety risks and harm to human health.
