摘要
在A356铝合金中加入不同含量的稀土元素La、Nd,采用金相分析、拉伸试验、断口分析等手段,研究了添加La、Nd对A356铝合金的微观组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明,La和Nd能够细化A356铝合金中的α-Al相,缩小合金的二次枝晶臂间距和共晶Si长度,使得粗大的针片状共晶Si向颗粒状转变。加入La和Nd后二次枝晶臂由16.52μm分别减小到5.67μm和7.11μm,共晶Si长度由原来的7.5μm分别减小到1.24μm和2.06μm。抗拉强度明显提高,由原来的158 MPa分别提高到218 MPa和210 MPa。
The effects of lanthanum and neodymium on the microstructure and mechanical properties of A356 aluminum alloy were investigated by means of metallographic analysis and hardness testing with adding different content of lanthanum and Neodymium.The results reveal that the rare earth lanthanum and neodymium can refine the primary Al phase in A356 aluminum alloy,and decrease the secondary dendrite arm of the aluminum alloy and the coarse needle like eutectic silicon phase size.Secondary dendrite arm with La and Nd mixed addition can be decreased from 16.52μm to 5.67μm and 7.11μm,respectively.The length of eutectic silicon is decreased from 7.5μm to 1.24μm and 2.06μm,respectively.The tensile strength is increased significantly from 158 MPa to 218 MPa and 210 MPa,respectively.
