摘要
自中世纪发轫至今,大学作为一个知识生产组织其知识生产模式处于变迁之中,由模式1走向了模式3。在知识生产模式变迁中,大学的治理范式也发生着相应变化,以大学自治、学术自由和教授治校为标志的传统大学治理模式逐渐演化为日益多元的利益相关主体共同治理。在此过程中,大学的社会功用得以充分实现,但也由于知识生产过度遵从外部导向而陷入了功利化、工具化的陷阱,大学治理也因之发生了价值的迷失。新的知识生产模式和大学治理范式实际上给大学自身造成了一定的伤害,这就要求重新审视大学知识生产与大学治理的传统,发掘其时代价值,也就是要发挥大学知识生产与大学治理传统的内在规训意义,优化大学知识生产模式结构,重建大学治理的价值理性,从而维护大学的发展逻辑,以使大学能够持续地实现其功用。
Since the beginning of the Middle Ages, as a knowledge production organization, the knowledge production mode of university is in the process of change, which has changed from mode one to mode three now. The governance paradigm of university has changed correspondingly with the change of the knowledge production mode. The traditional university governance model, marked by university autonomy, academic freedom and self-governance, has gradually evolved into an increasingly pluralistic stakeholders management. In this process, the social function of the university has been fully realized, but it also has fallen into the trap of utilitarianism and instrumentalism because the knowledge production excessively obeys the external direction. As a result, university governance has lost its value. Since the new mode of knowledge production and the paradigm of university governance have actually done harm to the university itself, it requires a re-examination of the tradition of university knowledge production and university governance to discover its contemporary value, which is to say, it is necessary to develop the inherent discipline meaning in traditional university knowledge production and university governance, optimize the structure of university knowledge production mode, and rebuild the value rationality of university governance, so as to maintain the development logic of the university and realize its function continuously.
