表达序列标签 (expressed sequence tag,EST)是在生物体特定时空表达基因的一段 c DNA序列。随着生物信息学的发展 ,EST已成为基因定位、基因克隆、基因表达分析的有力工具。文章对应用 EST克隆基因和分析基因表达的研究进展进行了综述 ,并讨论了利用
Expressed sequence tag (EST) is a partial cDNA sequene of the gene which expressed in specific tissue and specific stage.With the development of bioinformatics,EST represents a useful tool of gene identification,gene location and gene expression.The paper summarized the advance of gene identification and gene expression by ESTs and discussed some problems and tendencies in these procedures as well.
