Casting Process Design and Numerical Simulation of Aluminum Alloy Box

摘要 铝合金箱体外形尺寸较大,形状基本对称,壁厚差异较大。工艺设计中选用强度和刚度高、易清理的树脂砂造型和制芯,以保证铸件尺寸精度要求;选择开放式、底部注入的浇注方式,以保证金属液平稳充型;使用UG软件进行三维建模,并运用ProCAST软件对铸件充型及凝固过程进行数值模拟,通过初步凝固模拟分析,设置补缩冒口解决了厚大部位补缩的问题,模拟结果显示可获得无缺陷铸件。 The aluminum alloy box casing was larger in size, the shape was symmetrical, the wall thickness varied greatly.Design and selection of high strength and rigidity, easy to clean the shape of the resin sand and the core to ensure that the casting size accuracy requirements; the open and the bottom pouring method were selected to ensure that the molten metal smooth filling; using UG software for three-dimensional modeling, and the Pro CAST software was used for the casting filling and solidification process numerical simulation, through the initial solidification simulation analysis. Setting up the feeding nozzle to solve the problem of thickening and shrinkage, the simulation results show that there is no defect casting.
