Study on Friction and Wear Properties of Cu-Ti B2 Composites

摘要 采用热压烧结技术制备了含不同Ti B2质量分数的Cu-Ti B2复合材料,研究了Ti B2含量对复合材料的密度、显微硬度、导电率和热导率的影响,以及Ti B2含量、载荷和转速对Cu-Ti B2复合材料摩擦磨损性能的影响,并应用扫描电镜观察和分析了试样的显微组织和磨损表面形貌。结果表明:随Ti B2含量增加,试样的硬度升高而导电导热性能下降,摩擦系数降低而耐磨性能显著提高;随着载荷的增加,试样的摩擦系数逐渐降低,后趋于稳定,磨损率逐渐提高;随着转动速度增大,摩擦系数先增加,后趋于稳定,磨损率不断上升。并对Cu-Ti B2复合材料磨损机制进行了探讨。 Cu-Ti B2 composites with different contents of Ti B2 were prepared by hot pressing sintering technology. The effects of Ti B2 content on the density, micro-hardness, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity of the composites, and the effect of Ti B2 content, load and revolving speed on the friction and wear properties of Cu-Ti B2 composites were studied.Microstructure and morphology of the worn surfaces of the samples were observed and analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM). The results show that with the increase of Ti B2 content, micro-hardness increases, the electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity decrease, the friction coefficient reduces, and the wear resistance improves greatly.When the load increases, the friction coefficient decreases firstly and then tends to be stable, the wear rate increases gradually.The friction coefficient increases firstly and then tends to be stable with the increase of revolving speed, the wear rate increases. And the wear mechanism of Cu-Ti B2 composites was studied.
