摘要
通识教育理念及课程模块是全球化背景下高等院校装备学生的基本内容,而本科生院则是通识教育的基本载体或形式。文章阐述了本科生院的含义、特征及基本形式,概述了美国大学本科生院形成与发展、成熟和稳定的过程,介绍了国内高校本科生院实施及建设情况,分析指出国内高校在本科生院建设过程中存在的主要问题,进而提出解决当前国内高校本科生院建设中存在问题的建议和措施。
The idea of liberal education and related curricular module are the basic contents to facilitate university students in the time of globalization,and undergraduate school is the carrier or the basic form of liberal education. The paper presents the connotation,characteristics and the primary form of undergraduate school,summarizes the process of the creation,development,maturity and steadiness of the American undergraduate schools,illustrates the present situation of undergraduate schools in China,analyzes the problems existed,and finally proposes some suggestions and measures for the settlement of these problems.
