摘要
翻译不仅涉及语言问题,也涉及文化问题,因此翻译本质上就是一种跨文化交际活动。本文首先从词汇、句子和语篇层面分析了由于学生跨文化意识的缺失所造成的翻译失误,然后指出为了培养学生的跨文化意识和提高翻译质量,作者在翻译教学中所做出的一些积极尝试。
The practice of translation, as one typical intercultural activity, involves both the shift of the language and culture. This paper firstly analyzes those translation failures resulting from the unawareness of intercultural differ- ence and then lists some attempts the author has ever made in order to improve students" intercuhural awareness in translation.
