摘要
生物类专业表现出知识更新快、专业术语多、英语能力要求较高等特点。目前,地方本科院校鲜见开展外教全英文课堂教学的探索。为拓展学生视野、丰富专业知识、提高英文水平、促进中外文化交流,地方本科院校—湖南科技学院生物技术与生物工程两个专业引进外教进行专业课程全英文课堂教学的尝试,获得了较好教学效果,并初步构建了合理的课堂教学模式,现总结于本文供同行参考、交流与讨论。
Biological majors exhibit many characteristic such as knowledge update soon, having many professional terms, needing good English capability. In order to expand the students' horizons, rich their professional knowledge, improve their English level, promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, course teaching in English by foreign teacher was tried in the major of biological technology and biological engineering of the Hunan University of Science and teaching in Engineering which was a local university. Good results were obtained and a reasonable model for course English was established. A summary was made for peer discussion.
