摘要
高职英语教学的目的是培养学生实际运用语言进行交流的能力,实现跨文化交际。要达到这个目标,需要认识到高职英语教育并不是纯粹的技能学习,也包括跨文化教育。这种观念可以通过把高职英语教学与文化导入相结合,采取不同的导入方法,遵循一定的原则,使高职英语教学有实质性的提高和突破。
The aim of English teaching in higher vocational College is to cultivate students＇ ability to use lan- guage in cross - cultural communication. To achieve this goal, we need to be aware of the fact that the higher voca- tional English education is not a purely skill learning. It should include intercultural education. This concept can bring a substantial improvement and breakthrough to higher vocational English teaching if we combine English teaching with culture introduction by certain different methods and principles.
