温压致密化机理及其在温压粉末设计中的应用 被引量:12

摘要 温压是以较低的成本制造高性能铁基粉末冶金零部件的新型成形技术。试验结果表明 ,颗粒重排是温压过程的主导致密化机理 ,而为颗粒重排提供协调性的塑性变形是另一重要的致密化机理 ,同时还分析了影响这两个致密化机理的主要因素。在此基础上 ,提出了温压粉末原料的设计原则 ,并成功地开发了高性能、低成本。 Warm compaction is a new forming technique for fabricating high performance ferrous P/M parts at lower cost. The experiment has revealed that particle rearrangement is the domain densification mechanism during powder warm pressing and the plastical deformation of powder particle, which offers accommodate deformation for the particle rearrangement and also directly contributes to densification of powder compacts, is another important one. In addition, all factors controlling both densification mechanisms are discussed in detail. A designing rule of powder mixtures for warm pressing is also established for the purpose. Water atomized iron powder, iron particles recycled from rotary furnace dust in steel making and water atomized steel powder are successfully developed for designing powder mixtures for fabricating ferrous parts with high performance, lower cost and homogenous microstructures, respectively.
