摘要
新历史主义不仅为翻译在历史认知和文化建构中的意义提供了新的参照,也为翻译研究提供了新的视角.本文探讨了新历史主义对翻译研究的渗透和参与.在翻译本体论方面,认为翻译是对历史文本无限阐释的实现途径;在策略论方面,提出厚重翻译是新历史主义厚描理念在翻译领域的策略实践;在批评论方面,指出翻译批评的历史维度和多重视野映射出新历史主义批评观的影响;在翻译史论方面,强调翻译史研究旨在发掘社会能量在翻译文本和社会历史之间的双向流通.
New historicism sheds light on the role of translation in historical understanding and cultural construction and provides a new perspective for translation studies. This paper studies the permeation and participation of new historicism in translation studies and propo- ses that in terms of translation ontology, translation is the path of infinite interpretation of historical texts; ＂thick translation＂ is the stra- tegic application of ＂thick description＂ ; the historical dimension and holistic view of translation criticism underlies the influence of New Historicism; translation history studies aim to find the mutual flow of social power between translation and history.
