摘要
本研究基于自建语料库,对比分析了英汉学术论文作者通过自称构建身份的方式,发现:研究者和话语构建者身份构成了英语论文作者身份的主要方面;汉语论文作者注重于构建自己的研究者身份。英汉身份构建的不同源于英汉学术文化、对话语产生和理解的原则以及社会准则的差异。研究结果对跨文化背景下的论文写作及其教学有指导意义。
Based on a self-built corpus,this study explores the construction of authorial identity in English and Chinese research articles by examining the frequency of and roles played by self-mentioning markers.Results show that the English writer constructs the authorial identity by taking on both the role of researcher and discourse constructor whereas the Chinese writer's authorial identity is manifested in the role of researcher only.The paper further discusses the factors which influence the way of authorial identity construction.The research results may benefit research article writing and its teaching.
