摘要
传统的英语知识类课程中以教师为中心的教学模式不利于培养学生运用知识的能力、分析问题的能力和创新能力。通过尝试构建"英语语言学导论"课程的研究型教学模式,并通过双样本t检验和非参数检验对该教学模式实施前后的教学效果进行了对比研究。由此得出以下结论:1)英语专业学生能够较好地适应研究型教学模式;2)该教学模式能够促使学生把课内与课外时间有机地结合起来,并对学生综合能力的培养有着显著效果。
In China, teachers are always the dominators in the classroom teaching of English knowledge, which results in difficulties in students' applying knowledge, analyzing cases and cultivating creativity. This paper discusses how to apply a research-oriented teaching approach to the course of Introduction to Linguistics. Through the empirical study on the results of teaching, the article arrives at two conclusions: first, English majors are well accustomed to this teaching approach; second, the approach enables students to integrate in-class and off-class time, and has a profound impact on students' overall competence.
