摘要
通过对语言、意义及翻译观、语言及其表达多维性、语境动态性、翻译策略多元性、翻译方法多样性、翻译的局限性及未完成性等的初步分析,说明了对称式名言警句英译具有多维、动态性,因此应打破"忠实"、"对等"的"一一对应"僵化思维,提倡多维动态翻译,实现"一言多译"。
This paper first makes a brief analysis of the complex factors in translation such as the multidimensional signification（expression）,the dynamic context,the diversity of translation strategies and methods,and the limitation and unfulfillability of translation,and then proposes that there should be a dynamic one-to-many rather than a rigid one-to-one correspondence between the original and its translation,and hence a dynamic multidimensional approach should be adopted in translation of Chinese quotation in symmetric form.
