CATALYTIC KINETIC SPECTROPOTOMETRIC STUDIES ON THE REACTION OF BRILLANT GREEN WITH Cu

摘要 The article is based on the fact that Cu(Ⅱ) can catalyze the oxidation reaction of H 2O 2 on Brillant green in an acid solution.On this basis,a new sensitivity catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of traces Cu(Ⅱ) is established.The sensitivity of this method is 4×10 -9 g/ml,and the suiable concentration range of determination is 0.1~1.2μg/25ml,and the ε is 2.13×10 4cm·l·mol -1 .It has been applied to the determination of trace Cu(Ⅱ) in water with satisfactory results.
