摘要
跨文化交际已成为大学英语教学的重要内容。在大学英语教学中促进学生对中国传统文化的理解,具有重要意义和文化价值。外语教学与研究出版社《新编大学英语(第二版)》蕴含了丰富的中国传统文化内容,关注修身:立人之道,曰仁与义;关注自我发展:博学之,审问之,慎思之,明辨之,笃行之;关注自然与社会:天地与我并生,而万物与我为一。
Intercultural communication is indispensable for college English teaching.It is of much significance and cultural value to promote students＇ understanding of the traditional Chinese culture in college English teaching.The textbooks of New College English（Second Edition） have covered components of some elements of the traditional Chinese culture,which show concern for students＇ growth and development as well as the nature and society.＂The doctrines of self-cultivation embrace benevolence and righteousness.＂ ＂One sould learn extensively,examine carefully,think prudently,distinguish clearly and practice sincerely the good way.＂ ＂Man co-exists with Heaven and Earth,and in an integral part of the nature＂ to name only a few.
