摘要
从衔接-连贯、逻辑-语义关系、主位结构-信息中心三个方面对《古文观止》中收录的两篇散文《陋室铭》、《五柳先生传》和罗经国先生所译的英译文进行对比研究,试图发现古代汉语和英语在语篇组织上的差异,揭示罗先生在古代散文翻译中的风格和特点,验证系统功能语言学在翻译研究和语篇分析中的可操作性和适用性。
This paper tries to make a functional discourse analysis of two Chinese essays in ancient times, namely, Lou Shi Ming, Wu Liu Xian Sheng Zhuan （selected in Guwengucmzhi） and their English versions translated by Mr. Luo Jingguo, from the four dimensions of Cohesion-Coherence, Logico-semantic relations, Theme and Information focus. The purposes of this paper are to discuss the differences between Ancient Chinese and English in discourse organization and to illustrate Systemic-Functional Linguistics is applicable and appliable in translation research and discourse analysis.
