摘要
采用问卷、访谈等方法,调查了浙江东阳农民翻译蒋文生的英语学习策略,探讨影响其自学成才的主客观因素。研究发现其成功秘诀在于以英语词汇为突破口,有效地利用母语及综合知识对其进行系统的归纳整理、构建记忆模块,同时积极控制各情感因素。在此基础上,作者提出了成人自学英语的一些建议。
This study investigates the English learning strategies that a successful self-taught adult English learner Mr. Jiang uses, as well as the factors that contribute to his success, by means of questionnaire, interview, and retrospection. The results show that his success lies in 1 ） effectively enlarging English vocabulary through Chinese-andsynthetical-knowledge-based categorization, and 2 ） successfully controlling the affective factors. Based on the findinas, some suggestions are given to self-taught adults.
