摘要
在我国高校,艺术(音乐、美术)专业属于特招专业。该专业学生人数众多,在2004年全国统招新生475万人中,艺术生占学生总人数23％。但是,到目前为止,这一学生群体的英语学习情况未引起英语教育界的足够重视。为了能够掌握这类学生的英语学习特征,给教师提供相关的参考数据,更好的指导学生进行学习,作者采用调查问卷、测试和访谈的方式,对艺术生的英语水平状况、学习方法、英语学习动机和他们的学习风格进行了调查,并在数据统计的基础上,把艺术专业生和我国其它非艺术类专业生的英语学习情况进行时比分析,提出改进我国艺术生英语教学的一些建议。
In colleges and universities, in China art and music majors are specially enrolled students, who counted for 23% of the 4.75 million freshmen in 2004; nevertheless, EFL teachers haven＇t paid close attention to this group of students. This paper collects and analyses the data of art and music majors＇ English level, learning mcthods , motivation and learning style, and put forward some sugestions in order to teach them well.
