摘要
目的:综合分析射频电磁场和极低频电磁场多种免疫系统非热效应的研究进展,以期为从事电磁辐射生物学效应研究的基础和临床工作者提供参考依据。资料来源:应用计算机检索Pubmed1990-01/2005-12有关射频辐射和极低频电磁辐射对免疫系统影响的文献,检索词“radiofrequency,extremelylowfrequency,geneexpression,immunesystem”,限定文章语言种类为English。资料选择:将电磁辐射流行病学调查和使用微波或电磁波治疗疾病的文章筛掉,重点查阅电磁辐射致免疫组织损伤的非热生物学效应研究文献以及电磁辐射研究界知名学者如RepacholiMH,McNameeJP,ClearySF等的系列研究文献及国际非电离辐射防护委员会的国际会议报告。资料提炼:共检索到55篇相关文献,其中27篇符合要求。排除的28篇中,8篇为流行病学调查,20篇为有关疾病治疗的文献。资料综合:近年来,关于低剂量电磁辐射存在非热生物学效应的观点为大多数学者所接受,但有关非热效应的机制还不清楚。射频电磁场和极低频电磁场的免疫组织非热效应生物学作用包括遗传学效应、细胞增殖及转化、凋亡、致癌效应以及自由基产生等。结论:有关评价电磁场暴露及其危害健康效应的实验室依据还很有限,目前尚不能提供为人们所普遍接受的电磁辐射生物学效应及理论机制。因此,完善实验设计和暴露方法,科学地测量暴露强度及生物吸收能量,系统地研究各种生物学效应指标是揭示电磁辐射非热生物学效应机制的必要条件。
OBJECTIVE: To perform the comprehensive analysis on the research advance of radio frequency (RF) and extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields . (ELF EMF) on the non-thermal effect of various immune systems, with the expectation of providing reference and evidence to the researchers engaged in the basic and clinical study on the biological effect of electromagnetic radiation field.
DATA SOURCES: A computer-base search of Pubmed database published from January 1990 to December 2005 was performed by using the keywords "radio frequency, extremely low frequency, gene expression, immune system" with the language limited to English, which included the articles on the effect of RF emission and ELF electromagnetic radiation (EMA) on the immune system.
STUDY SELECTION: The articles on the epidemiological studies of EMA and disease treatment of using microwave or electromagnetic wave were excluded. We focused on the articles including study literature on non-thermal effect of the immune system injury induced by EMA, series of literatures from famous scholars such as Repacholi MH,McNamee JP, Cleary SF, and the international conference reports of International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection(ICNIRP).
DATA EXTRACTION: Totally 55 related literatures were searched in Pubmed, and 27 of them accorded with the inclusive criteria. Among the excluded 28 articles, 8 were the epidemiological studies, while the other 20 were concentrated on disease treatment. DATA SYNTHESIS: In recent years, numerous researchers have accepted the view that the non-thermal effect exists in low dosage EMA, but the mechanism of non-thermal effect is not clear yet. The biological effect of non-thermal effect of immune response to RF EMF and ELF EMF includ genetic effect, cell proliferation and transformation, apoptosis, carcinogenic effect, and the production of free radical.
CONCLUSION: The experimental data to evaluate the adverse health effects of EMF exposure are still limited. At present, the theoretical mechanism and the biological effect of EMA are not convinced yet by the public. Consequently, it is essential to perfect the experimental design and exposing way, perform the scientific measurement of exposure intensity and absorbed energy of organism, and study the indexes of various biological effects systematically so as to reveal the mechanism of EMA non-thermal effect.
