摘要
推进本科教育的双语教学是国家应对经济全球化和科技革命挑战的重要举措。在非重点大学(二批A线)本科数学专业《初等数论》中应用双语教学实验表明,在中高年级的科学类课程中应用双语(英-汉)教学是可行的。学生能够较好地完成本专业课程的学习任务,并在专业英语应用、教学情境和教学模式感受方面获得新的收获。在应用双语教学的情境下,学生存在一个学习适应期。使用先进的原版教材可以起到事半功倍的效果。要推进双语教学改革,高校应该创设有利环境,正确认识双语教学的本质,把握好“度”,并为学生提供有效的辅助。
Promoting bilingual teaching in the undergraduate course is an important measure to cope with the global economization and the challenge of technological revolution. The bilingual teaching of Elementary Number Theory for the undergraduate majors in non-key universities indicates that it is applicable to carry on bilingual teaching of science subjects among the senior students, who are able to accomplish the learning tasks of their specialized courses and gain some benefits in the application of professional English, the understanding of teaching context and teaching modes. The bilingual teaching context requires a period of adaptation on the students. The original edition of the teaching materials will achieve better effects. To promote the revolution of bilingual teaching, institutes of higher learning should set up favorable situations, understand the essence and the extent of bilingual teaching so as to provide learners with effective aids.
