摘要
隐喻是一种重要的认知工具。本文简要地论述了隐喻的分类及其认知功能,结合英语词汇教学特点,探索隐喻认知功能对英语词汇教学的启示,从而提高学习者的语言学习能力和语言水平。
Metaphors are powerful cognitive tools. By meaning of introducing Metaphor＇s cognitive functions and combining the characteristics of English vocabulary teaching, this paper tries to explore the great deal of enlightenment that the metaphor＇s cognitive functions bring in English vocabulary teaching, so as to improve the ability to learn a foreign language to achieve proficiency.
