摘要
阅读是大学生学习词汇、句型和语法等语言基础知识的基本途径,也是获取英语信息、了解英语国家社会文化的重要手段。培养大学生的阅读能力是大学英语教学的重点。但目前,大部分来自经济不太发达地区的学生,基础较差,无法理解文章真正含义,不能读懂英文原著等。为此,教师应提升自己的综合能力,改进教学方法,重视大学英语阅读教学,指导学生正确阅读,鼓励学生积极主动地、有选择地做课外阅读,这样才取得良好的教学效果。
Reading is a basic way for college students to learn words,structures,grammars and so on,and is also a major method for them to obtain English information and learn of social culture of English countries,so the major task of English teaching in universities should be improving student s reading ability.This paper analyses the reasons of the bad reading ability of college students,and puts forward some countermeasures to the college English reading teaching.
