重庆－攀枝花市间的长江与金沙江通道地带战略地位重要，自然资源丰富。组合配置优势突出，产业带建设意义重大。该区段产业带建设宜采取：加强以能源和交通为主的基础设施建设，大力开发水能和矿产资源，发展水电能源、原材料和化工工业为先导，加速发展先进的加工业和第三产业，积极开拓新兴产业的发展战略；时空布置实施“点－轴式”布局，依托中心城市。
It is strategically,the most important to build up the industrial corridor along theYangtze and Jinshajiang rivers to be located between Chongqing and Panzhihua cities.Inthe region,there are many predominant conditions,including the important location,richhydraulic power and mineral resources as well as good combined disposition of resources etal.,and the construction conditions for this development have been provided.For the construction of industrial corridor in the zone,it is essential to strengthen thedevelopment of infrastructure including power supply and transportation in the main,toexploit in a big way mineral resources,raw materials and chemical industries,and to de-velop tertiary industry and newly-rising industries;in the meantime,it is suitable to takethe point-axis model for overall arrangement and the face to face development startingfrom Chongqing city in the east and Panzhihua city in the west.
