SUPERIORITY AND POTENTIALITY OF THE MAIN NATURAL RESOURCES IN THE WUJIANG BASIN

摘要 本流域农业、能源与矿产三类自然资源经济地位重要,组合配置甚佳,优势明显,开发潜力巨大。因而它属我国待开发优位区之一,应全方位增加投入,加速其区域经济开发进程。 The Wujiang Basin is located on the Guizhou Plateau in the east of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and between 104°18' - 109°22'E and 26°07' - 30°22'N. The total area of land in the basin is 87920km2. The region,with the superiority of the profilic natural resources,good combination-disposition of resources, as well as large developing potentiality, is one of the most important regions for waiting development in China. The superiority and potentiality of the agricultural, energy and mineral resources are analyzed as follow:1.The superiority and potentiality of agricultural resources reflected out the wide fitness of orgenisms,the various eco-environment types,unfit structures in agriculture,the high productive potentiality of biomass and lowest output fact of agriculture,and the high output benefit and the lowest small input. For example,the productive level of corn, that is 3. 2t/ha,is only 1/10-1/7 of the productive potentiality of photosynthesis;the inputed money is less than 300 yuan/ha and the use of chemical fertilizers is only up to 170kg/ha for the cultivated land.2.The superiority and potentiality of energy resources are that the coal and hydraulic power are very rich,however the development is very poor. For example,the developed and developing resources of hydraulic power on the trunk of the Wujiang River account for 13% of the total reserve of hydraulic power;the ensured reserve of coal can be mined for 360-400a.3.The reserves of mineral resources in the basin are very rich. Many minerals such as A1,P, Mn,Fe,Hg etc. occupy an important position in China. The reserves of the former two ones are the second in China. However,the most minerals are been sleeped. The development of bauxite is the greatest mineral in the quantity, but the present reserves of it (according to the greatest planned capability of production )can be mined for close 100a.
