摘要
新疆高校招生中对少数民族考生的优惠政策从建国之初开始实施,其目的是实现各民族在教育上的平等权利。经数十年发展,虽然取得了很大成效,但也有许多负面影响,如少数民族学校基础教育长期落后、少数民族大中专毕业生就业难,而且在政策实施过程中很难实现各民族平等,还增强了民族分界意识。对此需要反思。
The preferential policy for the minority students in university enrollment has been carried out since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Its purpose is to realize equality in education among the different ethnic groups. After scores of years' development, there are negative effects as well as positive achievements. For example, the elementary education of the minority schools lags behind, the minority graduates of universities and polytechnic schools have difficulty in getting a job, and distinction is widened and equality is hard to be realized among ethnic groups during the implementation of the preferential policy. These effects call for reflections.
