摘要
20世纪90年代以来,大工程观越来越为美国工程教育界所认可。大工程观要求工程教育提供综合的知识背景,强调工程的实践性,培养学生的创造性。作为全美最好的两所工学院———麻省理工学院和斯坦福大学的工学院,在课程设置上充分体现了大工程观,其结构体系型和内容体系型课程设置模式,值得我国高等工程教育借鉴。
From the 1990's, the idea of large-scale engineering becomes more approbatory by the people and institutes of engineering education in America. It requires that engineering education should provide comprehensive knowledge background, emphasize on the practical aspects and cultivate the creativity of students. As two best university——MIT and STANFORD, their curriculum can fully reflect the idea of large-scale engineering. The structure system mode together with the content system mode of their curriculum design deserves our university of science to use for reference.
