大学人文教育与人格塑造:困境与出路 被引量:13

摘要 大学人文教育对于大学生健康人格的塑造与成型具有重要影响。但近代以来,由于自然科学一"学"独大,造成"物质主义"的泛滥和"工具理性"的崇拜,人文知识及其重要性在现代知识系统与高校教学体系中相应受到压制,人文知识与大学生的精神修养和人格塑造的密切关系也遭到轻视。这是中国当代社会文化出现严重精神危机的一个重要原因。文章对人文教育的现状和困境进行了较为深入的解析,指出人文教育的入手之处应该是围绕人文经典来重新设置高校课程体系,通过经典的精读和导读,达到塑造大学生健康人格的目标。同时,文章还对走出困境的出路做出了探索:一是正确把握高校的自我认知与目标定位;二是围绕"全人"目标重整高校院系格局,破除(特别是文史哲)学科之间的利益壁垒;三是精心建构人文教育计划,以中外经典的精读和导读为核心来配置利于长远发展的系统课程。 On the higher education level,humanistic education is crucial to students' sound personality molding. Since modern times,the over-emphasis on natural science has caused the flooding'materialism'and worship of'instrumental rationality',therefore,humanistic knowledge and its importance in modern knowledge system and the teaching system of colleges and universities is restricted,and a close relationship between humanistic knowledge,college students' spiritual cultivation and personality molding is neglected.The paper explores the current situation and dilemma of humanistic education and holds that humanistic education should be based on close reading and guided reading of classical works with the aim of molding students' personality.The paper also puts forward some solutions:firstly,positioning of colleges and universities should be correctly analyzed;secondly,the barriers between science and liberal arts should be eliminated;thirdly,aprogram of humanistic education should be carefully designed as the core courses of curriculum.
