摘要
作为习语中的一个重要组成部分,动物习语鲜明地体现了中英两种文化上存在的差异。本文以Lakoff和Johnson的概念隐喻理论为基础,通过一些代表性的实例分析探讨汉英动物习语中不同文化内涵的隐喻映射。
As an important part of Idioms,animal idioms embody the distinctive differences between Chinese and English in the two cultures.Based on the conceptual metaphor theory of Lakoff and Johnson's,this article analyses metaphorical mappings of different cultural connotation between English and Chinese by taking some representative animal idioms examples.
