摘要
本文拟以“五四”文化语境为视角,从翻译选材、译语选择和翻译方法三个方面对徐志摩的翻译活动进行了探讨,目的在于说明特定时代文化语境是如何作用于译者的翻译实践活动的,从而对徐志摩的翻译进行客观、公正的评价。本文最后就文化语境提出我们进行翻译批评的策略。
This paper,from the perspective of cultural context during the period of“ May 4th” Movement,carries out a study on XU Zhi- mo's selection of translated texts,his choice of proper Chinese and translating methods.It aims at illustrating how the specific historical and cultural context has influenced XU's translating activities so as to have an objective and fair evaluation of Xu- Zhimo's translation. Based on the perspective of historical and cultural context,some strategies on translation criticism are suggested .
