摘要
习语是语言的精华,承载着大量文化信息。英汉习语作为两种不同语言的瑰宝,由于其独特的文化 而表现出明显的差异。本文从自然环境、文化传统、宗教信仰、社会习俗等文化侧面入手,探索了英汉习语的差异, 并对如何在外语教学中加强文化含量提出几点建议。
As cream of language, idioms cany a lot of cultural information. English and Chinese idioms are significantly different according to national cultural individuality. This paper focuses on the problem of the cultural differences between English and Chinese idioms based on the difference of natural environments, religion, tradition and customs. And meanwhile offers some suggestion in English teaching involving culture aspect.
