摘要
大学英语教学必须设法打破目前仍然盛行的以教师为中心、以完成教学任务为己任的知识传授型教学格局,建立以培养学生为中心、以培养自主学习能力为目的的素质教育新格局;尊重学生的需求与个性,帮助他们重新定位自己的角色,实现从"教"到"学"的重心转移。
College English teaching must change the now popular knowledge passing teaching mode which is teacher-centered and teaching task-oriented.We should set up a new pattern of quality-oriented educating with training students as a central task and fostering students'autonomy in learning as a leading aim.We should respect students'needs and individuality,help them re-orientate their roles and realize a transition of focus from 'teaching' to 'learning'.
