摘要  近年来中国高等教育有了较大发展,保证和提高高等教育教学质量已成为高等学校深化教育教学改革的焦点和社会关注的热点。在这种情况下,自主式教学督导制度作为学校内部教学质量监测与保证体系的重要环节,已经在全国多数高等学校自发地建立起来,并对各高等学校的教学质量和人才培养质量起着重要的监控作用。从西安交通大学开展本科教学督导实践中,对高等学校开展自主式教学督导的必要性、定位与作用作了理性的思考。 China's higher education has been developed quite substantially overpast years. The assurance and improvement of the teaching quality of highereducation has turned out to be a focus on the deepening of teaching reform ofinstitutions of higher learning and hotspot of the concern of the Society. In suchsituations, the autonomous-type teaching supervision system, which acts as acritical link of the monitoring and assurance system of institutions of highereducation, has been spontaneously established in the majority of universities.This has played a significant role in the improvement of the teaching quality andtalent fostering quality of universities. Based on the practice of such anactivities in regular courses of Xi'an Jiaotong University, the paper hasconducted a rational consideration on the necessity, positioning and role on thedevelopment of the autonomous teaching supervision in institutions of higherleaning.
