摘要
盐角草(Salicorniaspp.)是地球上迄今为止报道过的最耐盐的陆生高等植物种类之一.基于其显著的摄盐能力和集积特征,盐角草可作为生物工程措施的重要手段之一,广泛用于盐碱地的综合改良;植株蛋白质组成良好,饲喂试验表明可显著改善肉类品质,可作为普通饲料作物无法正常生长的盐碱地区和沿海滩涂地区潜在的饲料作物资源;盐角草种子脂类含量高且组成好,可望开发成油料作物;盐角草植株含有大量灰分,可作为提炼钠盐等化学品的原料;盐角草是一种重要的耐盐基因供体,可广泛应用于各种农作物和生态工程植物的耐盐性遗传工程改良工作.呼吁重视对盐角草耐盐分子机理和开发利用开展深入研究.
Salicornia spp.,including Salicornia europaea, S. herbacea and S. biggellowii, was considered as one of the strongest salt-tolerant higher plant genus in the word. It was characterized by hyper-accumulating ability and special compartmentation of salt in its shoot. The update research indicated that it could be widely used as a potential forage in animal husbandry, a potential gene donor for salt tolerance improvement of field crops, a potential approach to refresh saline water and soil, a potential raw material of chemical industry and Chinese traditional medicine. The plant contained rich crude protein and its seed contained rich oil with good component. As an additive of feed, it greatly improved the quality of goat meat. The potential importance of Salicornia and other halophytes research and their utilization were stressed by authors.
