摘要
本文讨论以下 3个问题 :确定映射水平和映射内容的原则以及源域与靶域在映射过程中的不同作用。源域映射到靶域的内容由以下 3条原则确定 :不变原则、基本隐喻、语义中心。源域映射的水平取决于靶域的隐喻范围。靶域对源域映射的制约作用体现在 :1 )当源域的逻辑结构与靶域的逻辑结构发生冲突时 ,源域的逻辑结构应与靶域的逻辑结构一致 ;2 )靶域的隐喻范围决定源域映射内容的范围与水平 ;3 )靶域概念特征的多样性所造就的源域表达的多样性。
The paper finds some tentative solutions to the following three issues: principles for determining the content and extent of mapping from the source domain to the target domain as well as the different roles performed by both the source and target domains in the process of mapping. The content of mapping is determined by the following three factors: the invariance principle, the primary metaphors and meaning foci. The extent of mapping is decided by the metaphorical scope of the target domain. The interactive role by the target domain is shown in 1) the topological structure of the source domain should be consistent with that of the target domain;2) the metaphorical domain of the target decides the extent of source-target-domain mapping;3) differences in the aspect of target concept may need many different source domains for interpretations. Creativity in thinking is reflected in the emergency from mapping.
