Slicing direction in Rapid Prototyping has important influence on the accuracy, building time and cost of prototypes.Three single-objecive optimization models and the synthetic decision-making model that is based on ideal point and weighted with -p module for part-building orientation are developed respectively in the paper.In order to calculate these three single-objective optimization models and the synthetic decision-making model,a kind of new mixed genetic algorithm is designed.
