The Enlightment We Got from the American Modes in Foreign Language Teaching

摘要 本文从外语教学的地位、课程设置、教学模式、教学评估及师资培训等方面对中美外语教学进行了分析,进而得出了一些对我国外语教学有益的启示,以期对我国的外语教学起到借鉴作用. This article analyses the foreign language teaching in China and USA in terms of its position, curriculum, teaching model, evaluation and teacher's preparation. We draw some inspiration from the comparison. We hope that our ideas be of some help in improving the EFL teaching in China.
